Tourism-sector production reached 181,907 million dirhams in 2024, compared with 127,843 million dirhams in 2019, an increase of 42.3%. The measures in this section come from the COMPTE SATELLITE DU TOURISME DE 2024 (BASE 2014). They compare the 2024 tourism accounts with 2019 figures; they are not 2025 or 2026 estimates.

These national measures use the tourism satellite-account framework described in COMPTE SATELLITE DU TOURISME DE 2024 (BASE 2014). The 2024 values are measured account results, while the 2019 figures are the comparison-year values reported in that source. The percentages describe tourism’s reported contribution within the relevant national aggregate and should not be interpreted as visitor counts or accommodation occupancy rates.
Taken together, the regional accommodation data and the national tourism accounts describe different parts of the sector. The first set records classified lodging capacity and nights in specific regions and categories; the second measures tourism activity and its economic contribution across Morocco as a whole.
